"Soccer Dog: The Movie"
He's a goal-crazy mutt with some winning moves... and he's on his way to the championship!

There may be 101 Dalmations... but there's only 1 Soccer Dog.

Soccer is the only thing that keeps the sleepy town of Crocker alive. So one of the first activities CLAY NEWLIN (Jeremy Foley) joins after coming to live with his new parents (Olivia D'Abo and James Marshall) is the youth soccer league. But Clay finds the game difficult and most of the players unfriendly. Walking home feeling very alone after a practice one day, Clay meets Lincoln, a handsome dog on the lamb, running from the DOG CATCHER (Billy Drago). Of course an instant friendship is born. During the second game of the season, a key player and the only friend Clay has made is injured and out of the game. With no subs available, it looks like the team is going to have to forfeit until SHAW (Sam McMurray), the earnest but misguided coach, suggests that Lincoln fill VINCE'S spot. The Big Book of Rules doesn't say a dog can't play, so Lincoln takes the field, and soccer fever is born. The team wins game after game! Lincoln becomes a superstar! Families desperately try to teach their animals to play the game. But all is not well. The dogcatcher is hot on Lincoln's trail! A rival team has picked up Rotwang an evil mutt and plans to use him as an enforcer when they meet Lincoln's team in the finals. Clay is lost in all the commotion. Just before the big game Lincoln is caught. For the first time Clay really needs his new dad. Together they rescue Lincoln and get to the game just in time.
