When disaster strikes a space shuttle and its crew, a restored rocket is their only hope in "Rocket's Red Glare", a thrilling adventure starring Robert Wagner ("Austin Powers"), Marilu Henner ("Man on The Moon", "L.A. Story" and "Taxi"), Danielle Fishel ("Boy Meets World") and Ryan Merriman ("Deep End of the Ocean").
Renegade ex-astronaut RUSS BAKER (Robert Wagner), now the curator of an aeronautical museum, had recently purchased a rare Mercury Redstone rocket for a renovation project. And he and his grandson, Todd (Ryan Merriman), were in the process of restoring it to original working condition. While conducting engine tests, the the FBI is alerted and its agents immediately halt the operation.
As news of the functioning rocket reaches the NASA Vandenberg Air Force Base, the mission is clear - NASA must commandeer the Mercury rocket and the services of the only two men with the knowledge to pilot it, if the lives of the Endeavor's ill-fated crew are to be saved.
Tensions mount as the rocket is prepared for blastoff. Lives are at stake and the whole world waits while one man is given a chance to become a hero in "Rocket's Red Glare."
